2008 Stone Monkey Ceramics Special Edition Pot “The Serpent”

I have decided to release a “unique one off” pot each year. The pot will be a functional Bonsai Pot but aimed more at a collectors market. The pot will come in a bespoke handmade English Walnut presentation box with a solid silver Stone Monkey Chop set in the lid. I have been really excited with this project and VERY pleased with the results. Here is a wee taster of the pot. Further information for the release date can be found on my website http://www.stonemonkeyceramics.co.uk very soon.

Kind regards to all and thanks for looking

Never Enough Time… Then some!

Hi all. I am making excuses as usual and have neglected this blog somewhat. So I thought I would tempt your taste buds a little…Over the past  few weeks my website has been overhauled and revamped to give it a more polished and professinal look. I am really excited about how things are going. I am also making a limited edition pot every year now and this years pot is going to be a head turner and hugely collectable. Along with some more pots fresh from the kiln it looks like the Year of the Rat is going to be kind to the old Stone Monkey so watch this space http://www.stonemonkeyceramics.co.uk/

Apologies….

Hi All

Sorry its been a while since my last post. Life has been a little chaotic to say the least and I have been upto my elbows in Clay, but thats a good thing. Also I had a memory lapse and for the life of me I could not remember my login details, now that is slack!

Anyway less of the excuses and more on Bonsai Pottery.

 Regards

Andy

Burrs Bonsai Bonanza

This weekend I spent a couple of days in beautiful Bury at the Burrs Bonsai weekend organised by Tony Tickle. It was a fantastic weekend and worth every penny and the 4 and 1/2 hours travelling. You can see pictures and info on the weekend here

http://internetbonsaiclub.org/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=133&topic=22664.0

In my opinion it was Bonsai heaven, I am sure you will agree when you read the report from the above link. An imported Juniper I have was worked on by Enrico Savini and Ivo from Italy, to say the tree had a drastic change was an understatement. Watch this space as I will post pictures soon for all to enjoy.
