Heather Hartman
Heather Hartman is an amateur bonsai enthusiast from Long Island, New York (USA). Heather has been involved with bonsai since she was fourteen, after receiving her first tree as a gift and promptly killing it. Along with a particular passion for Shohin and Mame bonsai, she also holds a keen interest in other aspects of Japanese Culture and History, ranging from poetry to kendo, folklore to the tea ceremony. Other hobbies include writing science fiction, reading, jewlery making, horseback riding and generally puttering around outside, whether camping, hiking or just having fun spending time with her son.
